Warm Winter Punch (N/A)
Warm Winter Punch (N/A) made easy for the Cooler Keg. Batch it, chill it, pour it. Perfect for Aussie barbies and long weekends.
Ingredients
- 2370 ml Cranberry juice
- 1060 ml Apple juice
- 590 ml Orange juice
- 2370 ml Ginger Ale
- 2 TBS Sugar
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 6 Cinnamon sticks
- 15 Cloves
- 15 Allspice berries
- 1 TBS ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- Cranberries, orange slices, and/or apple slices for garnish (optional)
Directions
- Mix all ingredients, except the ginger ale, into a large stock pot
- Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes
- Lower temperature to 150 degrees and triple strain the mixture into the keg
- Add the room temperature ginger ale to lower temperature to 140, mix, and close keg lid (no need to pressurise the keg)
- Place warm keg into the Cooler Keg with non-frozen (room temperature) ice packs
- When it’s time to serve, set pressure to 5 psi and you’re ready to pour! Pour 180 ml into a glass or mug and garnish with cranberries, orange slices, and/or apple slices.
- Pro tip: make sure your Cooler Keg and ice packs are at room temperature before putting warm keg in so it doesn’t cool down the drink and set up as close to the party as possible for pipping hot sips!
