I bought this keg during their big launch. So did a pre buy and I am so happy I did! Quick assessment: Simple & Sweet NOW the scoop/info. This company was amazing, constant communication. Every month telling us how things went what stage of the process they were on. I never have felt more secure buying something then with them. Also, got to learn what it takes if ever I wanted to make and launch a product and oh boy do they have the perseverance. On to the product itself: As I have a little experience dealing with the kegs already (I work at a bar) I had my dad do all the setting up as 1. he was too excited 2. I wanted to see how easy it was to put all of it together. He did notice some screws at the bottom of the box. They were off the bottom of the cooler. he screwed it back in. BE AWARE though if this happens make sure the cooler is empty and don't screw all the way just a little bit. the screw can pop through to the other side or slightly puncture the cooler. All was good on our end though. I did show my dad a couple of videos on their instagram page of how to set it up as he just wanted to make sure he did it right. He bought beer the da before the superbowl and it lasted 2 days after that. (yes there was beer left after the super bowl, it only lasted 2 days because he drank the rest). Great purchase and am excited to use this for my wedding.

What drinks work in the Cooler Keg?
Our favourite line: the kegs do not care. Beer, mixed drinks, craft cocktails, soft drink, sparkling water, hard seltzers, mocktails, hot drinks. If it is a beverage, it will come out on draft. Carbonated drinks stay lively with CO2. For still batched cocktails, leave the kegs unpressurised until you are ready to serve. Want bubbles from a still mix? Fill the keg, max the pressure, wait 3 to 4 days, and you will have a sparkling pour.
How many drinks does it hold?
Each keg holds about 6.7 L. That is roughly 19 standard beers, though 18 is the sweet spot in real life. Across both kegs you are looking at up to about 36 x 355 ml beers, 90 x 150 ml mixed drinks, or 144 fancy 90 ml cocktails.
How long does the CO2 last?
One CO2 cartridge has enough pressure to empty both kegs, with leftover for cleaning the system. That changes if someone keeps pulling the tap on an empty keg (wasting gas) or if you force-carbonate a still drink over a few days, which uses CO2 in the carbonation process.
How does it stay cold?
The Cooler Keg includes 4 custom ice packs that sit snug around the kegs. Frozen solid, they keep fridge-cold kegs colder than the fridge for about 24 hours at around 24 C in the shade, or up to about 12 hours in direct 35 C sun. Need longer, or forgot to freeze the packs? Fill the cooler with ice. Everything inside is plastic and stainless steel, so ice is fine, and there is a standard drain on the side.
How long does it take to set up?
It arrives mostly assembled. The taps are not attached yet. They use a threaded collar and a tool is included to tighten them. After that, fill the kegs, fit a CO2 cartridge, and you are on.
What do you clean it with?
Rinse with water, clean with PBW, then sanitise with Star San. Finish with a CO2 or air flush.

My brother received his keg and I went to his house to try it out. We were all very impressed with the quality of the cooler and components within. It's very sturdy and well built. It was easy to fill and enjoy almost out of the box. Because of the CO2, hoses and pressure gauge there is a bit of a learning curve. We took it to a party at some friends and had nothing but rave reviews. “That thing is so cool!”, “what a great idea!”, many other great comments. The worst comment was, “the beer is gone!”. We may have altered the amount of beer before the party😁. We did notice a bit of learning curve while setting it up and also when cleaning it. However, that was to be expected. The only thing I would suggest is the drip tray. It being rectangular and up against the round tower on the tap, it didn’t quite fit to catch the drips. Maybe a half circle drip tray with a cutout around the tower. (Just my two cents) all in all it’s an amazing product and we love it! Purchasing my Cooler Keg via Go Fund Me was a very good experience. Throughout the entire process we were informed of all details great and small and when all the i’s were dotted and t’s crossed shipping information was shared - always with messaging that made me feel like a valued customer. When I received my Cooler Keg, I was surprised at how heavy the box was, but after opening it I realized I just purchased a high quality product that didn’t skimp on material quality. In addition, the instructions were excellent - both “old school” (read) and modern (watch video), I felt confident to assemble and use. When I brought one of the kegs to my local brewery, they were astounded at the capacity and ease with which they could fill the keg - unlike my pressurized growlers, the bartender could see the liquid level. I received my Cooler Keg right before my Super Bowl party. It worked as advertised -- keeping the beer perfectly cool and pressurized. Setup was easy and fast. And clean up was just as smooth. All the components are of the highest quality. My friends and family were very impressed with it, same with my favorite local brewery in Huntington Beach, CA, Riip (shameless plug) I've enjoyed watching the progress of the Cooler Keg team taking an idea and turning in reality. I borrowed a friend's CoolerKeg for an event. I immediately loved it and my boyfriend looked at it for less than 5 minutes and said, "When are we getting one to keep?" We aren't boat people or tailgating people, but the ability to have beer and drinks on tap for casual consumption, the occasional house party, or friend/family gathering is super fun. Coolest (pardon the pun) product I've purchased in a long time. I've had it for less than a month and used it twice for two separate parties. It's the center conversation piece each time. I love extremely light beer for day drinking and have never found it on tap. This changed the game! I've never had any experience with Kegs so the anxiety was real, but the videos and setup guide were super easy to follow and made me feel like an expert. So cool!
Honestly one of the coolest "adult" toys I've bought for myself. Took down some of my buddy's favorite local beers when I visited the other weekend and we loved it.The beer stays cold longer than you think and the system is extremely easy to use. This product rocks! I have already used it twice. It showed up packaged well and the YouTube videos take you step-by-step on how to set up and clean after. I used to have a kegerator outside and it died in a year because the motor burnt up in the heat. When I did a backyard remodel I had my contractor do a built-in drawer for the Cooler Keg in my outdoor kitchen. I love that I can put anything in it for my parties and it looks like I have a sleek built-in kegerator but I can also take it out for the tailgates.

The cooler keg has been fantastic. Used it several times. It is easy to get setup, easy to use, easy to clean. I can't wait for camping season so I can use it most weekends this summer. I even use one side for non alcoholic drinks for the kids, and they love it too.

So close to perfect !!! giving 5 stars because its just just the small things. Drip pad doesn't line up under the taps without it laying funny on the tower base. handles will pinch you hands, specially when the cooler is completely full.

I really enjoy the concept of it but I dislike that it pours so fast. I wish it had also come on wheels but other than that it’s a great product and every one gets hyped when they see it.
